Who Stole $3 Billion from the PA Cookie Jar? DUH

Who Stole $3 Billion from the PA Cookie Jar?

The money was not used to better the lives of Palestinian Authority Arabs, of that one can be sure.

Mark Langfan

When I was a kid, there was a fun saying when you took a cookie before you were allowed to.

We would all declaim in turn: "who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? Not me, not you, couldn't be, then who?"

Well, the Sunday Times just reported that according to a recent report of the European Court of Auditors, a Luxembourg-based watchdog, more than $3 billion dollars (or 2 billion Euros) of European aid given to the Palestinian Authority between 2008 and 2012 "may have been misspent, squandered or lost to corruption."

The auditor report further stated there were "significant shortcomings" in the management of funds sent to "Gaza and the West Bank".  Also, the auditors "complained about the lack of measures to mitigate ‘high-level’ risks, such as "corruption" or  funds not being used for their" designated purpose.

Now where would the $3 billion of EU aid money go? Or, how about the many billions of unaccounted United States aid money that has also gone missing?
Where is Sherlock Holmes when you need him!

But it gets richer (or poorer in this case.).  Just this week, Palestinian "President" Mahmoud Abbas blamed the "Israeli occupation" for his not having enough money to pay his government's  150,000 Palestinian Arab "employees". The Palestinian Authority's 2013 budget was expected to reach $1.4 billion.

And if that wasn't enough, the IDF just discovered a "Gilad Shalit-kidnapping" type tunnel from the Gaza Strip to Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha.  Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha is in pre-1967 Israel.  The Gaza-Hashlosha tunnel was measured at 1.7 kilometers or about 1 mile.  The tunnel protruded 300 meters into Israel.  The exit of the Palestinian tunnel was located right next to the Kibbutz's kindergarten. The tunnel was very well-equipped with electricity, lighting, telephone, tracks to evacuate dirt, and places to place large caches of explosives for maximum effect.  In short, it was a "full service" tunnel.  The cost of the discovered tunnel was estimated in the millions of dollars.

It was lined with concrete slabs purchased from Israel after massive world pressure insisted that the concrete was needed for schools and hospitals

Where did the over $3 billion in European and American aid money to the Palestinian Arabs go?

Abbas and Hamas are not paying teachers to teach physics or computers to Palestinian Arab children so they can compete in the modern world.  Instead, Abbas and Hamas are paying Palestinian Arab terrorist murderers who are sitting in Israeli jails, and terror tunnel builders who intend to kidnap Israeli school children.  These are the leaders the Palestinian Arabs  voted and empowered the barely remembered last elections held in the PA..

But the Palestinian Arabs are only partially to blame.  The real criminals are the Israeli and American left-wing Jewish leaders who have created the false messianic cult of "Land-for-Peace."  They should have called it Land-for-Tunnels, or Land-for-Rockets.  They will ignore the newly discovered tunnel just like they ignored the 16,000 rockets that were fired from Gaza into Israel after Israel's unilateral "disengagement" from the Katif Bloc.

If one had predicted in 1993 that the Oslo Process would bring 1.7 kilometer tunnels from Gaza to a kibbutz kindergarten, the Jewish 1993 Peace-cultists would have called you "insane."  Yet, the 1.7 km tunnel exists, and reached 300 meters into Israel before it was destroyed.

The fact that a tunnel projecting over 3 football fields into Israel-proper was able to be built makes a mockery out of the "two-state solution."  Imagine if a tunnel 1.7 km long was built from the Palestinian Authority into pre-1967 Israel Kfar Saba on the densely-inhabited Israeli coastal plain.  But, just like in 1993,  Jewish Peace-cultists, would say a tunnel from the "West Bank"  into pre-1967 Israel is "insane."

As the spokesperson for the military wing of Hamas, al-Qassam Brigades, just tweeted about the Ein Hashlosha tunnel, "the minds which manage to dig the tunnel can dig dozens more."  (That's a direct quote. The word "minds" is used very loosely here.)

The American and Israeli Jewish Peace-cultists were wrong in 1993, and they are even worse in 2013. They will stop at nothing to build the Palestinian Arab State which will bring even more efforts to effect the annihilation of the six million Jews of Israel.

Before the Jews can ever defeat the Palestinian Arabs, we must first defeat the Jewish Peace-cultists who have confused and weakened the Jews themselves, before. they bring another  tragedy to the Jewish people.
